Instagram is picture-paradise for those of us who love to travel.
So it was natural for us to wonder, what travel destinations are the most “Instagrammed” in 2017.
Here’s what we discovered.
10. Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas, USA
The Las Vegas Strip is a stretch of South Las Vegas Boulevard in Clark County, Nevada that is known for its concentration of resort hotels and casinos. The Strip is approximately 4.2 miles (6.8 km) in length, located immediately south of the Las Vegas city limits in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester. However, the Strip is often referred to as being in Las Vegas.
Many of the largest hotel, casino, and resort properties in the world are located on the Las Vegas Strip. The road’s cityscape is highlighted by its use of contemporary architecture, lights and wide variety of attractions. Its hotels, casinos, restaurants, residential high-rises, entertainment offerings, and skyline have established the Las Vegas Strip as one of the most popular and iconic tourist destinations in the United States, and the world.
Most of the Strip has also been designated an All-American Road, and is considered a scenic route at night, as you can see from the gorgeous photo below.
9. Disney California Adventure Park, Anaheim, USA
Disney California Adventure Park, commonly referred to as Disney California Adventure, California Adventure, or DCA, is a theme park located in Anaheim, California. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks and Resorts division. The 72-acre (29 ha) park is themed after the history and culture of California. It also celebrates the fun and adventure of the state through the use of various Disney and Pixar properties. The park opened in 2001 as Disney’s California Adventure Park, and it is the second of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort complex, after Disneyland Park.

8. Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn, USA
The 8th most popular tourist destination on Instagram is the wonderful Brooklyn Bridge.
The Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge in New York City and is one of the oldest roadway bridges in the United States. Started in 1869 and completed fourteen years later in 1883, it connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, spanning the East River. It has a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m) and was the first steel-wire suspension bridge constructed. It was originally called the New York and Brooklyn Bridge and the East River Bridge, but it was later dubbed the Brooklyn Bridge, a name coming from an earlier January 25, 1867, letter to the editor of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle and formally so named by the city government in 1915. Since opening, it has become an icon of New York City and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964[ and a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1972.

7. Musée du Louvre, Paris, France
The Louvre is the world’s largest art museum and a historic monument in Paris, France.
A central landmark of the city, it is located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the city’s 1st arrondissement (district or ward). Approximately 38,000 objects from prehistory to the 21st century are exhibited over an area of 72,735 square metres (782,910 square feet).
The Louvre in 2016 was the world’s most visited art museum, receiving 7.3 million visitors.
6. Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Orlando, USA
Magic Kingdom is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando.
Owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks and Resorts division, the park opened on October 1, 1971, as the first of four theme parks at the resort. Initialized by Walt Disney and designed by WED Enterprises, its layout and attractions are based on Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, and is dedicated to fairy tales and Disney characters.
The park is often represented by Cinderella Castle, inspired by the fairy tale castle seen in the 1950 film. In 2016, the park hosted 20.395 million visitors, making it the most visited theme park in the world for the eleventh consecutive year and the most visited theme park in North America for at least the past seventeen years.
5. Tokyo Disney Resort, Tokyo, Japan
The Tokyo Disney Resort is a theme park and vacation resort located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, just east of Tokyo. It is owned and operated by the Oriental Land Company with a license from The Walt Disney Company. The resort opened on April 15, 1983, as a single theme park (Tokyo Disneyland), but developed into a resort with two theme parks, three Disney hotels, six non-Disney hotels, and a shopping complex.
Tokyo Disneyland was the first Disney theme park opened outside the United States and it comes in as the 5th most popular travel destination on Instagram.
4. Eiffel Tower, Paris, France
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.
Constructed from 1887–89 as the entrance to the 1889 World’s Fair, it was initially criticized by some of France’s leading artists and intellectuals for its design, but it has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most iconic structures in the world.
The Eiffel Tower is the most-visited paid monument in the world; 6.91 million people ascended it in 2015.

3. Central Park, New York City, USA
Central Park is an urban park in Manhattan, New York City.
It comprises 843 acres (341 ha) between the Upper West Side and Upper East Side, roughly bounded by Fifth Avenue on the east, Central Park West (Eighth Avenue) on the west, Central Park South (59th Street) on the south, and Central Park North (110th Street) on the north.
Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States, with 40 million visitors in 2013, and one of the most filmed locations in the world.
It’s number three on our list.
2. Times Square, New York City, USA
Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment center and neighborhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. It stretches from West 42nd to West 47th Streets.
Brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements, Times Square is sometimes referred to as “The Crossroads of the World”, “The Center of the Universe”, “the heart of The Great White Way”, and the “heart of the world”.
One of the world’s busiest pedestrian areas, it is also the hub of the Broadway Theater District and a major center of the world’s entertainment industry.
Times Square is one of the world’s most visited tourist attractions, drawing an estimated 50 million visitors annually. Approximately 330,000 people pass through Times Square daily, many of them tourists, while over 460,000 pedestrians walk through Times Square on its busiest days.
It’s no surprise then, that Times Square comes in at #2.
1. Disneyland, Anaheim, USA
The Disneyland Resort, commonly known as Disneyland, is an entertainment resort in Anaheim, California.
It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks and Resorts division and is home to two theme parks (Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure), three hotels, and a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex known as Downtown Disney.
The resort was developed by Walt Disney in the 1950s. When it opened to guests on July 17, 1955, the property consisted of Disneyland, its 100-acre parking lot (which had 15,167 spaces), and the Disneyland Hotel, owned and operated by Disney’s business partner Jack Wrather.
